In honor of the upcoming Super Bowl, we’re rounding up some of our favorite healthy hearing foods from around the web to enjoy while watching the showdown between the Broncos and Panthers. Don’t be put off by the “healthy hearing” aspect – these foods are just as decadent, cheesy and addictive as any good football food deserves to be.
We already professed the healthy hearing benefits of salmon, and these crispy salmon bites are no exception. Just make sure to look for wild caught salmon in BPA-free cans. This recipe serves 2, but can easily be doubled, tripled, etc. for everyone at your Super Bowl party. They taste great on their own, but I wouldn’t discourage you from serving them with your favorite ranch dressing…
Spinach is rich in antioxidants and artichokes are rich in magnesium, so this healthy hearing dip packs twice the nutritional punch! Chips and dip is the ultimate snack food, so why not make this hearty option that will warm your belly AND protect your ears?
Potatoes are loaded with magnesium, the same healthy hearing nutrient found in bananas. This recipe serves 12, so it’s great for a crowd! If you don’t need 12 servings, just use less potatoes. If you want to use less bacon too… well, that’s up to you.
